Afghanistan Hilfsprojekt Wild Flower - Hilf auch du!
"We are two friends who established the Wild Flower project together. Our name originates from flowers which are under the streets but despite it find a way to grow through the cement.
Mahbube is a student at Kantonsschule Küsnacht. Additionally she organises the Wild Flower project and gives all her heart and work into it.
She is our correspondent for Afghanistan and connects the students to the volunteers. „The driving force for founding this project is, that I want to give Afghan girls like me an opportunity for education. So I started with what I was able to do, what was in my possibilities and created Wild Flower with Samira. I am very thankful to have her with me.“
Samira finished gymnasium and is currently doing a gap year. She is responsible for logo, design and financial management. „I want to do something for human rights. With this project we want to support and stand with afghan women who were even forbidden the simple basic right to get an education. Something I learned from Mahbube is, to do what lays within our possibilities. So we created this project with the simple means available to us . I am very happy to work together with Mahbube.“
