Over the last few weeks, every student had the possibility to immerse themselves in a subject of their choosing. This project was based on free online courses provided by different universities, from which we could each select one that we were passionate about. These courses are combined in the term MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) and are used by millions of people around the world to learn about subjects ranging from business courses to language studies and many more. Just as diverse were the topics chosen by our class. After choosing a course we spent several of our lessons studying our topic individually and taking notes in order to eventually present it to our classmates. Examples of the end products of this project can be viewed on this page in form of academically structured scientific posters, that give the reader an insight into what the individual students learned throughout the past weeks.
